Tattoos can be removed with a laser tattoo removal device known as the Q- Switched Yag/KTP laser. The Q switched Yag laser uses dual wavelengths (1064n,/ 532nm) to remove a vast rand of tattoo pigments.
How Does it Work?
Our top of the line Q-Switched laser is able to “shatter” or break up the tattoo ink below the skin’s surface. From there, your body’s immune system can flush the ink particles out of your body. We utilize numbing cream to help make the procedure tolerable. The pain you experience during the removal is temporary, and treatments typically take less than 5 minutes to complete.
Results
Laser tattoo removal takes multiple treatments to completely remove your tattoo (typically between 3-12 treatments). The number of treatments needed as well speed and effectiveness of laser tattoo removal, depend on a couple of factors such as your age, health, the type of tattoo you have, where the tattoo is located, and more. Repeat treatments, if needed, are done at 8 week intervals.
