Mindful Medicine Certification:
Functional Medicine + Ketamine Therapy
An integrative training combining foundational functional medicine with advanced ketamine therapy protocols.
A 2.5-Day In-Person Clinical Training for Licensed Healthcare Providers
Hosted at Priority You MD, the founding clinical site of Dr. Brent Agin, MD
For Medical Professionals Only
Educational training intended exclusively for licensed healthcare providers
What Makes Our Training Unique?
Mindful Medicine is a relationship-based, private-pay model of care that prioritizes insight, neuroplasticity, and whole-person health over diagnosis-driven, insurance-dependent treatment. This training introduces a next-generation clinical framework that bridges modern neuroscience with systems-based functional medicine by integrating:
- Functional medicine principles (root-cause analysis, metabolic and inflammatory balance)
- Lifestyle medicine (sleep, nutrition, exercise, stress physiology, and social connection)
- Training on nutrient infusion therapies, peptide medicine, and hormone optimization
- Psychedelic-informed therapies, including ketamine, used to enhance neuroplasticity and cognitive flexibility
- Provider-guided preparation and integration practices based upon Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Practice architecture, patient journey, and implementation strategy
Who This Training Is For?
- Physicians (MD / DO)
- Nurse Practitioners
- Physician Assistants
- Clinics offering or planning ketamine therapy
*Participants must be licensed healthcare providers practicing within physician-led or physician-supervised models, in accordance with state regulations.

Brent Agin, MD
Medical Director | Institute of Mindful Medicine®
Dr. Brent Agin is a pioneer in functional and psychedelic medicine with over a decade of clinical experience in ketamine therapy. Having performed more than 5,000 patient treatments, Dr. Agin brings a depth of real-world insight that bridges neurobiology, functional medicine, and mindful clinical care.
His teaching integrates safety, ethics, neuroplasticity, and practice implementation — equipping providers with both the clinical competence and philosophical grounding to practice responsibly.
Kelly Kreutz, LCSW
Integration Specialist | Institute of Mindful Medicine®
Kelly Kreutz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and integration specialist with advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS)–informed care. Her work focuses on helping clinicians understand the psychological, emotional, and relational dimensions of psychedelic-assisted therapies.
During Day 3, Kelly leads training in patient preparation, integration coaching, and clinician presence — ensuring providers leave with the skills to support meaningful, ethical, and lasting patient transformation.
Upcoming Training Opportunities
We host small-group certifications throughout the year at our Clearwater, Florida training facility.
Due to the clinical and experiential nature of this program, training dates are released selectively based on provider fit and cohort composition.
Cohorts are intentionally limited to preserve training depth, safety, and integration quality.
Location: Clearwater, Florida
Format: 2.5 Days In-Person
Cohort Size: Limited
Dates: April 22-24, 2026
Tuition & Certification
- All in-person training days
- Experiential ketamine session (if medically appropriate)
