Vampire Facelift

The PRP “Vampire” FaceLift is a term used to describe the use of your body’s own blood cells, Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP, in combination with hyaluronic acid fillers to rejuvenate the face.  As we age we lose collagen in the skin. The loss of collagen, along with sun damage and exposure to free radicals in the environment leads to fine lines, hollows, and changes in skin texture and tone. The platelet cells obtained and used in a vampire facelift secrete growth factors that stimulate new collagen in the skin for a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.

While anyone can benefit from a vampire lift or facial, It is especially recommended for patients who want to address the following conditions:

  • Dark circles under the eyes
  • Crow’s feet at the corners of the eyes
  • Sun damage
  • Acne scars
  • Stretch marks
  • Wrinkles and fine lines
  • Thin, sagging skin on the neck and chest or around the eyes
  • Rough, dull, ashy, or uneven skin texture

How is the treatment performed?

A vampire facelift entails taking a small amount of blood from your arm. The blood cells are then processed to obtain highly purified cells that are responsible for collagen creation in the skin. This purified material (PRP- Platelet Rich Plasma) is then injected into the areas of concern on the face.  At Priority You MD, we take the extra step of microneedling the PRP serum into the face.  Micro-needling allows the PRP to be absorbed more effectively. This significantly multiplies the collagen production leaving the skin tighter, thicker and brighter.  Once micro-needling is complete, our Allergan Master Trained Injector, Jamie Tripp, ARNP, will use the Juvederm family of fillers to smooth, plump, and add volume to areas of the face.  At Priority You MD, we use numbing cream to minimize any discomfort during the one hour procedure.  There is no downtime with a vampire facelift.

What is the difference between a vampire facelift and a vampire facial?

The only difference between the facelift and the facial is the use of Juvederm fillers to instantly plump and smooth wrinkles, or add volume to areas of the face.

The Vampire Facial (Microneedling with PRP) costs $499.

The Vampire Facelift starts at $899, with an average cost of $1,599, but varies between patients depending on the amount of filler used.  For an exact price, please schedule a consultation.
