Does the O Shot Really Work?

O Shot

Priority You MD of Clearwater, FL is proud to offer the latest treatment in vaginal rejuvenation: the O Shot Plus. This all-natural treatment will revitalize your sex life, reducing issues such as vaginal dryness or laxity while simultaneously increasing your pleasure.

What Is the O Shot?

Imagine an injection that could rejuvenate your body. In a single visit to the doctor’s office, you could receive a treatment that would literally replace aged and weakened cells with strong, healthy ones. This is no longer a figment of your imagination: it’s real.

The O Shot is an approved treatment that uses Platelet-Rich Plasma, or PRP. We’ve gone one step further and added the Plus: Stem cell treatment. By combining these two potent rejuvenators, we have the absolute best treatment for feminine rejuvenation available.

But how does it work? What makes these two ingredients so beneficial for our patients? Let’s look at both PRP and stem cells to see how they can transform your body using modern science.

What Is PRP?

Platelets and plasma are two of the four primary components in your blood, the other two being red and white cells. Platelets, in particular, have several important applications. Platelets promote blood clotting and wound healing. When you cut your finger, platelets detect the increased blood flow in the area and release a clotting factor. This causes your blood to form a clot, stopping the bleeding and allowing the healing process to begin.

Once lots of platelets accumulate in the wound, they release an enzyme called platelet-derived growth factor, or PDGF. The enzyme tells nearby cells to reproduce to replace the wounded cells. It also marks wounded cells for destruction, taking them out of the body so that they can be replaced.

Where Does PRP Come From?

Surely this incredible product must be rare or extremely expensive. In fact, the opposite is true. What makes PRP so amazing is that it is autologous, meaning it comes directly from your body. We simply take blood from your arm and run it through a machine that performs apheresis. The machine uses a centrifuge to spin your blood, which separates the components by density. The machine can then draw out the platelets and some plasma.

The unnecessary components, such as red and white blood cells, are returned to your bloodstream by the machine. You don’t lose significant amounts of blood in the process, making this process extremely safe. In addition, the usual restrictions on blood donation do not apply: anyone of any weight can receive this treatment.

Similar PRP Treatments

If you’re still not convinced that such a treatment could really work, just look at all the other popular PRP treatments today. The Vampire Facial is one that injects PRP into facial tissue to greatly restore vitality and youthful skin. Hair loss treatments for men using PRP are also gaining popularity. Speaking of men, they have their own version of this incredible treatment: the P Shot Plus!

PRP has been in use for over 40 years for recovery after surgery, as well. However, in the last few decades, PRP has found a number of unique applications. Sports medicine has also embraced PRP treatment as a way to help athletes recover from injury faster.

How Are Stem Cells Involved?

Stem cells have also become useful tools in the fight against aging. Cells deteriorate over time, and their ability to reproduce healthy cells diminishes. By adding stem cells, we activate your body’s natural cell factories. New, healthy cells will replace aging ones.

Aging cells are the root cause of many of our sexual issues. Whether it’s impotence for men or dryness for women, worn-out cells are usually to blame. We activate pluripotent stem cells to reverse the damage time has done to your body.

What Are Pluripotent Stem Cells?

These stem cells occur naturally in your body. They can be induced from other kinds of cells, including fat cells. It’s possible, therefore, to cause your body to produce new pluripotent stem cells which can later become any kind of cell your body needs.

When these cells are injected into a part of your body, they tend to change into the cells surrounding them. If you inject them into muscle, they typically turn into muscle, for instance. When carefully applied to vaginal tissue, they can form any number of cells related to vaginal function, improving the health and overall performance of all tissues in the area.

What Are the Benefits of the O Shot Plus?

Our patients are constantly in awe of the results they receive from just one session. The benefits are many, but we’ve listed the ones that our patients appreciate the most:

Increased Sensitivity

If achieving orgasm can be difficult for you, a single treatment can have profound results. With precise application, the PRP and stem cells will have the most effect. When applied carefully to the clitoris and G spot areas, the results are astounding.

In the short term, sensitivity can be quite intense. Rest assured that it levels off to a very comfortable level within only a few days of your treatment. After that, you will find your body far more responsive than it has been in years.

Increased Natural Lubrication

The cells that release your body’s natural lubrication grow weaker as we get older. Less is made, and what is produced is of lower quality. Vaginal dryness can also be psychologically difficult to overcome.

By rejuvenating these cells, we greatly improve your body’s ability to self-lubricate. This also leads to increased arousal in general. The consequences of increased arousal aren’t hard to predict.

A More Active Sex Life

Simply put, your renewed body is going to ignite a new fire in you. Your libido will increase, which is sure to cure any dead bedroom situation you might find yourself in.

A reduction in the frequency of sexual activity as we age is perfectly normal. However, it doesn’t have to be this way. When you remove the harmful effects of aging, you can keep your youthful spirit alive.

Stronger Relationships

Although we value other qualities that a person brings to the table, sex matters. Being able to be physically satisfied in a relationship can be just as important as being emotionally satisfied.

Sadly, many relationships crumble due to sexual frustrations. This problem tends to appear more frequently as couples age. Treatments such as the P Shot Plus and O Shot Plus keep your passions alive and burning bright.

How Long Does the Treatment Last?

Naturally, when considering any treatment, it’s important to consider the long-term benefits. Most women find that the maximum effects of the O Shot will last for at least one year. Typically, the benefits will become less noticeable after one year.

However, this is not to say that there are no extended benefits. Many women report a feeling of improvement even several years after treatment. PRP and stem cell treatment truly does produce new tissue in the body, and so, in theory, the benefits are likely permanent and cumulative.

Will I Need Multiple Treatments?

Few patients require more than one consecutive treatment to achieve meaningful results. Although there are some who may not respond as vigorously to the first treatment, nearly everyone is satisfied. Multiple treatments are useful for maintaining that peak experience longer, however. It’s understood that each successive treatment will repair more tissue, improving the long-term results.

What Can I Expect From Treatment?

One of the biggest advantages of a treatment like the O Shot Plus is that it is a simple outpatient treatment. You do not need to receive general anesthesia, and you can resume normal activity within a day. The treatment itself is quite simple.

Before Treatment

Your experience begins with a consultation at our Clearwater, Florida office. We will discuss any previous treatments you might have had and ensure that you are a good candidate for PRP treatment with stem cells.

Once you have been cleared, we will set up an appointment for the actual treatment. You may be given some simple instructions. We sometimes recommend a healthier diet in the days leading up to the treatment, as this can enhance the quality of your blood plasma.

The Day of Treatment

We always recommend that you have someone else drive you to and from the appointment. Not only is it safer for you, but it will also help you to relax.

The Preparation Process

You’ll be taken into one of our rooms where we will proceed to extract blood to make the platelet-rich plasma. This process takes about 10 to 15 minutes. While that is happening we will also apply topical anesthetic to the injection areas.

When the topical anesthetic has set in, we will then administer a stronger local anesthetic. Given the natural sensitivity of the area we are working with, we want to be absolutely sure that you feel no pain whatsoever. Our methods deliver a completely painless treatment.

Administering the PRP

Once the doctor has confirmed that you are feeling no pain at all, we can begin the treatment. The PRP prepared in the centrifuge will be put into a syringe and applied at several key locations. This process takes only a few minutes, during which time you should feel nothing more than a slight push.

When finished, the doctor will clean the areas and ensure that everything has been applied properly. You will be able to get ready to leave at your leisure.

After the Treatment and Follow Up

We typically schedule a follow-up visit for one month after the initial treatment. We typically recommend that you wait up to a week to see results settle before requesting another visit or consecutive treatment. We generally recommend that you do not engage in sexual activity for the first day or two after the treatment. This is due to the increased sensitivity you are likely to feel. You should be able to resume sexual activity within three days of the treatment.

Bear in mind that results do take time to see and that they also vary from person to person. However, if for some reason you do not see any significant improvement within a week, we can discuss possible solutions, including secondary treatment.
